Hi 3 months ago i had a gearbox go on my 2002 mini which to be honest probably was my fault..... anyway got a new one fitted and taken it very easy since then but it has decided to go again with no warning just following a row of traffic at 50 mph. Like i said the box was brand new 3 months ago so im a little confused???? Any suggestions? cheers

Should easily last more than 3 months! But since its the older Midland box they are know for being a little unreliable especially if they are given a hard time. Sharp gear changes and worst of all sharp down changes can strip them easily. Could look at getting the newer Getrag box instead......
