ladys and gents ... after much thaught ive decided to follow a thaught by the vdub boys and use oem parts and mod them to what i want due to my budget ... which is MINImal (sorry)  parts will be sourced via ebay and forums and such

so my questons are ....

has anyone fitted bumpers and sideskirts themselves if so how easy and will S bumpers (maybe areo) fit strait on a cooper?

is the bonnet as easy as it looks to remove and fit an S one ?

and last but not least

i know i will need a new exhaust will it be the case of swapping them over useing dffrent mounts or will there be chassis diffrences between the 2

and dont panic ... i will not be putting any badges on trying to fool people that it will be an S

cheers for any help guys !!!

For the exhaust, Laser do one with a centre exit to fit a Cooper/One. Makes it look like an S and should be a straight swap except for the rear bumper.

The bumpers will fit straight on. I know Keith has done it to his One. Should be pretty easy. There are lots of "how to" guides on MINI2.

The bonnet should be as easy as it looks. The hardest bit would be swapping the lights, unless the S bonnet has the lights still in it. But still even thats not difficult.

Lots of people have done it so check the guides on MINI2.

And don't forget to take lots of piccys!

As Matt says MINI2 has quite a few threads on this so will be more information than you need.

Sounds exciting Rob.
