Hi peeps

Finally got some JCW brakes fitted, along with recing fluid and braided hoses. Brakings gr8 and they do look amazing grin.png. Just need some new alloys so they can actually be seen more wink.png, the s-spokes really don't help and they're flaking bad sad.png

Not sure what to get though, need to be 17" to go with the runflats. Any recomendationsquestion.png. Been thinking about the TD 1.2's. but are light alloys more for track use and buckle on the terrible roads around here question.png (ever go down Mucsliff or Broadway Lane in B'mth?Nightmaremad.png). And are runflats ok on these? question.png

 - Also does anyone know if the 'Mini' caps fit on aftermarket alloys? question.png I know i could probably get some stickers but hear they are fiddley

- What offset would i need? question.png

- Is there any noticable difference having them direct bored as opposed to using a supplied spigot? question.png

Cheers for any answers you can give .

TD 1.2s have been ok on mind on Southamptons shite roads.

Dave @ thinkmini is currently doing a deal on TD at the moment too.

I know the road you mean Matty - not great at all, much like a lot of roads around here at the moment.

If you want a race look then those wheels like Dave's look great. Dave's show his nice calipers off very well.

I would say ditch the runflats Matty. I ended up (after much help from others) getting Toyo Proxes from tyretraders.com for a fraction of the price. Instead of £150 a corner for my Pirelli runflats, I paid £70!

4x100
offset between 40-50 is ideal i think, although mine are 37 but i do get occasional scrubbing at the back but very rare.

et 45 on the rear is best of your going low.

and the front depends on your brakes.
