My Mini park lane will be 3 years old on the 31st March and I have received a letter from Snows my Mini dealer offering me to extend my Mini warranty.

They offer three levels of protection
COMPREHENSIVE - £443.00
NAMED COMPONENT - £414.00
DRIVELINE - £326.00
This includes £100 excess and MINI emegency service.suprised.png

It just seems to be an awful lot of money and I don't know what to do for the best, are they worth having or not ???

Can anyone give me some sensible advice as of what I should do please ??  special.png

Sue, at the end of the day it is an insurance policy, so you need to weigh up the risks. How do you drive the car? Have you a history of problems? What mileage do you do each year? I didn't do it as I only do about 4-5k miles a year in my MINI.

Phil, I have only just reached 30000 miles this week and yes I had loads of problems in the first 18 months which were all sorted out and have been trouble free since then(fingers crossed)

MINI emergency srvice is always good to have if you have a breakdown or accident. It's a shame they don't offer that on its own.

I would be careful with taking up extended warranties, they don't always offer the amount of cover that you think they do. Always read the small print!
