Some of you may have seen in the 'Hoody' thread that i am going to get the interior of the HyperViper colour coded in blue.

MINI Matt can do it for £200, but that would be a swap for my old dash, and i would spend about £60+ getting there.

MINISpeed can do it for £300 inc VAT and they are local.

BMW said £470.  However they also said that the door bins and surrounds would need to be sprayed in situ as they cannot be removed.  Apparently they are glued in to the door in the factory.  Can anyone comment on this?

Other options include getting a second hand dash and getting it sprayed.  Matt says he is a dab hand (lucky its not handscheesey.png) with a spray gun!

Any other suggestions or quotes peeps?

You could try a local bodyshop. Look them up in the yellow pages, they might do a cash job. At least they will be able to match the colour properley too.

And i've still got 2 hands but only one useful arm.

Hey, if you don't ask...

On a serious note, it just shows what a really greta bunch of people are in our wee club. Thanks to Joe, I have half the job done.

Now all I need to do is figure out the fitting of the dash (any suggestions peeps?) and then the doors.

Hey Matt, if I get a couple of recon door cards, do you fancy filling in your bored time priming and painting Hyper blue and then help me fit?

Yeah, that wouldn't be a problem Phil. They're pretty easy to fit by all accounts. But i'm not sure how you do the dash. Might be worth investing in a Haynes manual.

Just give me the nod and i'll order the paint

or if you post up on mini2 someone will have instructions.

I have posted a few times asking about stuff and the replies come back really quick as well.
