Hi All,

I was wondering if anyone could help?
My car is leaking water! It has only been over the last month or so it and i no the water will go down quicker as i have the heater on! but its running out quite fast at the mo.

I filled the water up on sunday and it was empty by thurs?? It has been to a mecanic but they couldnt seem to find any thing wrong with it. They said it wasnt leaking from the outside.

Its going in for a service in 3 weeks and i will mention it to them then.

But i was wondering if anyone has any ideas of what it could be? if not its no probs but wld be good if anyone had ne ideas!

Thank you

Does it leave a puddle if its parked for a while?

Check the oil and make sure its not gone creamy, it will look a bit like yoghurt if its leaking into the engine.

Do you notice any steam after you have driven the car? I used to get some steam from the radiator after a journey on cold mornings. Turned out to be a small leak that BMW sorted out.

Maybe head gasket if you find you cant see where its going. Or boiling off. At the end of the day you should never need to top up
