does anyone know if there was any diffrent exhaust options on the R50 cooper ???

mine seams to have a larger tail pipe than outhers ive sean and sounds very very grunty i had a bit of a burn off some lights with anouther cooper in brum on tues and mine drowned out there outher one ...

could this be anything to do with having the chilli pack ??

the only official other exhaust was the JCW works exhuast and it was an expensive option

the only way of telling i know is the jcw logo!

So you can now enjoy the celebrated ale that still eludes the Ferrets of the Gribble Inn - Fursty Ferret

Are you sure its not the screw on attachment that you can get for the end of the exhaust?? , and the sound your hearing could be from a non spec panel filter. My old Cooper used to sound a bit throaty with the PiperX panel filter on.

ok dave ... you know what i mean MINI psrt .... there i said it

and it was deffo anouther cooper ... unless a ONE owner put cooper on the back ... hmmm i dont know

ill strip the airbox down tomorrow nad have a look at the filter and see what i can do

and yes it was the open road but it was a 50 limit and i stopped at 49mph .... open road with no peds on the pavemnt and no tyre squeel .... perfect launch id say
