But now i am striped .... i need a rear strut brace....

Roland of GTT will be a good person to speak to regarding braces... He makes and supplies all the braces you'll need... They look good too...

OMP are rubbish. the GTT ones are the only true braces The JCW is an accessory to make the engine bay look nice and doesnt really have much function either.

There are four! One top front, lower front, mid lower chassis and rear boot brace. The top two are the biggest different I believe as its the strut and body flex that causes most of the problems.

omp lower is good and much cheaper than the GTT and dont give me the reinforced balls as ben killed his lower GTT on a speed bump

the best lower brace is the TSW X brace or the M7 USS

GTT top brace is a work of art, i run the m7 top brace and its 100 times better than my old omp top

other thing to get is camber plates good coils and plates will out shine any car with just a brace

R50 Cooper Red/White m7 STB m7 CAI m7 sport springs carbotech stoppers

epic cooper coming soon, (cooper S shot block, Thumper Head, rotex supercharger, AST coilovers re-valved for swift springs, TSW BBK, safety devices half cage, recaro race seats, etc)

I have all four GTT braces on my MINI. I had the top front, lower front and lower mid braces all fitted at the same time, and noticed a big difference straight away, and 22 months on i can still feel the benifit of them. With the rear boot brace fittrd i felt a small difference to start with, but i can't really feel that anymore. I guess the improvement from the rear was too small to keep feeling the difference after a while.

Yeah what an epic waste of £80 that was. The OMP lower is fine. The GTT mid Brace is worth the money as is the top brace. I don't have a boot one, personally don't see the point.

Just picked up my GTT strut yesterday from Think MINI went there to get my spots fitted, But LuckyDave noticed where the strut fits on the mounts there is Mushrooming and the passenger side is split looks like I'm back to the stealers AGAIN. But still love my ickle cab and can't wait to get the strut on and a few other things in the new year.

Get better tires first, then look for a bigger rear sway bar.
Rear strut bars are best on RWD/AWD cars, on FWD they do very little.
