Bringing the alternative to the mini !! | ||

It is quite straight forward to fix, just remove the 4 (I Think) screws that hold the Glove box in. Disconnect the glovebox light. the cable just unplugs. Then with the Glove box out, you can adjust the catch that the lid clips on to it is a couple of nuts and bolts from what I remember, so that the catch has a bit more to hook on to. Then put it all back together in reverse. Hope this helps, any questions just ask. I have a haynes manual that I can refer to  Martin | ||
