anyone else ever had the glovebox open by its self ? its a 03 cooper with the non locking box ... anyone got any fixes or is it a case of running it back to scothall mini and getting them to do it for me ... at the mo its jammed shut with a £2 which is causeing me to starve at work so any ideas are needed !!!

Yep had that one and fixed it.

It is quite straight forward to fix, just remove the 4 (I Think) screws that hold the Glove box in.
Disconnect the glovebox light. the cable just unplugs.
Then with the Glove box out, you can adjust the catch that the lid clips on to it is a couple of nuts and bolts from what I remember, so that the catch has a bit more to hook on to.
Then put it all back together in reverse.

Hope this helps, any questions just ask. I have a haynes manual that I can refer to rolleyes.png
