Oh they were connected.

I thought the road works were finishing in Spring of next year?

Of is that just the Rownhams ones?

Arron its the widening work between the M3/Airport and the M271 that will continue on for a long time. Cant say I have experienced much impact on traffic flow.

There seems to be plent of BS about the cameras these days......yes they are connected and yes they register all number plated whatever lane you are in.

I think traffic moves better with the cameras and apparently there has been fewer accidents coz of the cameras, so to be honest...I think they should stay!

But with that new extra lane for the traffic!

i dont think it would make much difference having an extra lane, what gets me is if a vehicle breaks down where there is no hard shoulder,it will cause accidents and jams

its the HGV driver that annoys me especially when they come off the ferry port and not knowing the roads very well, hopefully having that extra lane may help a little. The vultures must of made quite a bit of money!
