I never was a fan of Schumacher when he was racing and his underhand tactics that he used, and it looks like he is still up to his old tricks !

Still has that need for speed in his blood!

Read it on the news this morning and wondered what he was doing over here in a van!

What a muppet he is! Such an idiot to not even say sorry to the poor bloke he hit, although I wonder how much of that story is being "milked" by the victim purely because the culprit is famous.

Which footballer was it that hit a kid and then visited him in hospital and things gave him money and signed boots etc etc? See thats how to deal with press after doing something silly, and also a very gentlemanly thing to do! Not call the victim a tosser for being in the road!

Sounds like a load of [censored] as always. So he clipped someone stood in the road with his wing mirror? happens all the time. If he hit him with the van he'd be in hospital or dead. Like the classic police statement "The road is for cars not for pedestrians....."

Well knowing the roads around Lidd, they tend to be rural.

If the bloke was locking up his premises and stood on the road then there must have been no footpath, so he may have been perfectly entitled to stand in the road as the road is there for everyone to use not just cars !!

Also if the bloke was stood in the road locking up, I would question the suitability of the timing and location for overtaking especially in a van. As I doubt he suddenly threw himself out into the road. If he had been in Germany he would have been done by the Police clear and simple, for hitting the pedestrian.

I dare say any normal driver would have been done, however one law for the rich and famous and one for the rest of us.

Gotta disagree on that one...he may be German but his record was no flash in the pan. Whatever you may think og the guy, he was an AWESOME driver - no question.

I couldn't give a toss what country he came from. I just  think of him as a dirty driver who was more than happy to cheat when ever he needed to. He also never raced anbody in the same team either. Most of his time at Ferrari, he drove a car so much better than anything else on the grid it was embarrassing. And still made sure all his team mates were under contract to let him win.

Yes he had talent, but i will always think of him as a bum.
