Bletchely Park was probably WW2's best kept secret. It was here that some of the most intelligent men and women worked away in huts, deciphering the encypted Axis messages. The work carried here brought about an early end to the war. They broke the encryption on the Germans so called unbreakable code of their Enigma Encoders. They designed and built the first computer.

Without Bletchely Park and the people that worked their we may have lost the War, we may not have computers today.

Unfortunately Bletchley Park is running out of funds and falling apart, the National Lottery has refused funding. why is beyond me ! Anyway someone has started a petition for the Government to help fund this facility. Please sign the petition and save this very important historical location from disappearing altogether. The work carried out was just as important, as those who fought on the front lines.

Good cause Maritn - my dad worked there (not during the war!) as he was in the FCO. I used to go to the social club there with him as a lad!
