Sorry couldn't resist! The bead of a tyre is the bit that sits against the side of the rim. The lip of the wheel holds the bead, thus holding the tyre to the wheel. Therefore I can only assume that your tyre is not central to the wheel. Is it a runflat? Do you get any vibration through your steering?
