Hi Alig07, sorry to hear your having gearbox trouble. I have only just fixed mine! I suggest you bring your car to a local reliable garage that can remove the gearbox, and then have it sent off to a gearbox specialist. The garage I went to was in Oxted just South of the M25, and the gearbox specialist they used charged 395 pound. This involved replacing all the bearings and even a couple of cogs. Getting the gearbox out though wasnt so cheap as it was rather labour intensive.
Hope you know of a local decent garage. Goodluck!

Cheers for that, its at a garage, luckly my hubby knows a good mechanic who fit it straight in. The gear box is out and in pieces so they know what is causing the problem.
Would you have a name of the gear box specialist?

Cheers for your suggestion, I have just spoken to someone in weymouth who said he can do it for under 400. So my mechanic gonna give him a call just to be sure he knows wots wrong.
