I guess it was the DS Cooper S. Very tidy car, but I think it was the only MINI so may have won by default! Link to results below:- http://www.minicooper.org/beaulieu/picture_gallery_2.htm

We had a great time and thanks to everyone who helped organise things. Great atmosphere, weather, people and of course MINIs! Hope to see some of you again soon.

All,

On behalf of the Mini Cooper Register, thanks for coming down.

Your stand looked really good, if a bit cramped (more space has been planned for you for next year!)

It was really good to see so many new MINI's attending and as you will have seen from the MINI only parking, more and more owners are realising it is a show for all Minis, old and new alike.

There was only 1 New MINI in concours this year, which was the DS Cooper 'S' Works that won last year. It was a credit to its owner, who when I spoke to him is p/exing it against a GP Works, which he intends to enter in the concours, so watch out!!

Overall, a great show, enjoyed by many. (15% more than last year!)

Thanks to Arron for organising the stand and all of you for coming.

Look forward to seeing you all again next year.

Regards

Mark Walker

Many MANY thanks for helping with us getting a kick ass size stand at Beaulieu! Its definitely getting bigger every year and there definitely seemed to be more MINIs than last year so thats good!

And many thanks to Steve for his help in getting us a stand and everything this year!

I agree Denise! Terry & I go to quite a few shows & I always notice the 'classic' Mini owners always give us stick & passing sarcastic comments. But I have always had Mini's & we always look at the classics with fondness. They are ALL BRILLIANT!!

You would think that after 7 yrs of the MINI that the classic owners would be bored with making comments, still some out there are purists but still like the MINI

Ah right! I thought that was a ruddy good picture you had taken there!

Well there's plenty more Summer time for you to get down to Denny Wood!
