Hi guys...i am sorry to be such a pain in the rear but i dont no who else to ask!!

Right....as some of you know i recently bought myself a Mini Cooper in racing green with white roof/wheels/mirrors. I have gone from having a slug 1.2 Corsa to this and am very very happy! It needed a new exhaust so i went and had a full Janspeed exhaust fitted at the weekend so it sounds a bit meatier now. I am now only interested in making the exterior look nicer. I want some white bonnet stripes, some 17" wheels in white (only want Mini wheels) and want to put some tints on it. I have NO IDEA what else to do. I have always dreamed of having a car that i can mod and my last car would of looked a joke if i had a exhaust fitted (im thinking ronnie rev head wannabe) but the Mini can take any mod or accessorie and look like it was meant to be. Thats what i love about the Mini, you can get away with putting racing stripes on it and no one would think it looked OTT where as if you put some stripes on a Corsa you would get laughed at. No only that, you can drive the Mini anywhere and you would just fit in!

Anyway...back on topic. I need some idea's on what else to do...all the cars i have seen on here look amazing and none of them look OTT. My Mini is comepletly standard apart from the exhaust and want it look look more sporty and different.

Your help would be massivly appreciated!

Thanks

Nat

Do you like bodykits? The BMW Aero Kit looks very nice and makes any Mini look that little more aggressive.

But then again I have this bodykit so I am biased... though most think this is the only one worth having.

What about colour coded arches?  These make quite an improvement and makes polishing a lot less hassle too.

Well that's my 2 pence worth, I'm sure others will have more ideas.

Best thing to do is think about your interests and hobbies and see if you could mod your mini to reflect these.

When it came to my MINI it was easy as I like motorsport so I decided to give it a race car look. I've now just added the last of my stickers to give it a little pirate look as well, which will be good for the Poole Quay visits this year.
Now just got to get my MINI alloys refurbished and painted gloss black.

To start getting some ideas I would look at www.minipirate.com as they've got lots of different graphics and do a custom service as well. Minimania also do various bits and pieces for MINI's as well.

Oooo cant see the pics but I have seen the best body kit that I like a couple of days ago and should be going into production in summer. Might be on my list of things to do.... if I can find some money from somewhere

Before or after you make your car 400bhp?

Your mad! At least you will look stylish after you've climbed a tree backwards with all this power your planning!

You could change the side vents with the indicator lense on it, to chrome vents and white indicator bulbs? That would go for making a nice white look....orange does kinda stand out a bit!

Cheap and looks good!

Or how about a roof decal? You've got the ****ing expensive MINI ones or get one designed and put on for half the price!

But as John says, think what you want the car to represent (Mine is coolness and sportiness! ) and then go from there!
