Hi Guys

Glad I found you guys hopefully you can help.

Brake pad sensor light recently came on. Got the pads replaced at a garage nearby but they couldn't get the light to turn off.

Aparently, on speaking with BMW/Mini, the car needs to go in to be plugged into a computer to have the light reset, costing a tasty £50+

Im just wondering do any of you know the reset procedure for this so that I can try it out myself before forking out to have BMW do it?

Also, to save making another post, do any of you know if any other company can do good tracking on a mini?

I've been told to get this KDS done but at £188 im willing to try other options first! I stay in Paisley, outside Glasgow, Scotland.

Thanks

They need to replace the pad wear sensor, the light should just go out once this is done!

The sensor clips into one brake pad on the fornt and one on the rear.

As for the tracking, Id know where to say if you lived in this area, just choose somone who has a Laser Alignment system NOT Supertracker and suchlike! TBH the BMW system is by far the best option if you have concerns over the handling of your car.
