Would love to have these fitted to my mini, is it best to have them fitted before I pick the car up?

I ordered the chrome bonnet intake, and hubby is happy to give that a go, but how hard is it to fit.

I think the fuel cap is alot harder lol

any advice would be much appreciated!

thanks guys

I have fitted a different bonnet scoop to my s it was straight forward, took about 15 mins. If you lift the bonnet up and cast your eye around the area where the scoop is you should see afew plastic screws, unscrew them and then there is a thick plastic cone shaped plug on the inside of the scoop that cannot be accessed, so you need to CAREFULLY push something flat under the scoop so you can pop the scoop forward releasing the plastic cone. Done. Hope this helps.

^ James, that does really help Thanks very much

I was reading up about the fuel cap last night and think that one is best left to the dealer!

Fuel caps like side skirts require quite a bit of pressure so you have to be confident what you are going.

Scoop is a 2 second job! two nuts and a clip on the r53
Are you buying an R56?

I have the Chrome Scoop fitted on my PW MCSC (R53 ) - love it. As already mentioned a 10 minute job. Decided against the fuel cap - too much hassle. Good luck!

A chrome fuel cap will not fit a Cabby, Theres no room for them with where thre tank is, Hence why Convertable S's do not have them !

Also Convertables are R52
