Hi all i have a question.

I wanna get my wheel arches colour coded on my R56 cooper s, to match the aero kit. Anyone have any good places to go and prices? Im in the Southampton area.

Also maybe this could be a specialised question for Miss Lottie as i saw that she had here arches colour coded at last weeks top gear run.

Thanks James x

Any good body shop I use Romsey Accident Repair Centre for all my body spraying.

A few tips though....

1) make sure they use a flexible plastic adhesive
2) Flexi Primer
3) And flexen(or what ever its called) in the paint too
4) they need sanding smooth so they dont look horrible strayed

If you have used any silicon bumper shine then it might not be so easy to get the pain to stick.

£200+ depends how worried you are about colour matching. If you want it to look perfect then they will have to spray over onto the other panels. seems a waste to me though.....

p.s. Or go to Scothalls or Snows? If you were to give Romsey Accident Repair Centre a call then ask for Stu and see what he can do for you. Maybe a nice cash deal?

As Dave says really.

I had mine done before i collected the car through the stealer. They buffed and sanded the arches before spraying to get a smooth look, or near enough. The biggest thing will be if you have siliconed them like Dave said a it will need more preparation.

I cannot remember how much it cost but i think i got a quote of about £300 from someone else. That was for arches and the front and rear bumper. With hindsight i am kind of glad the bumpers were not done looking at the stone chips it has got on the plastic already.
