![]() Registered Member #536 Joined: Wed Mar 12 2008, 04:26PMLocation: Dorchester Posts: 4 | Hello Newbee Here, ![]() I have a 2002 cooper S and suprise suprise the airbag light has come on, I have taken it to an independant BMW specialist and there diagnostic tools are reading fault code: B0 battery Disconnection/1 Which dosnt seem to correspond to an airbag fault. when the fault is reset it flashes once then comes back on, he is completly stuck as am I, Just wondered if anyone knows whats going on or if Im going to have to pay a visit to the £Kerching BMW garage! ![]() Registered Member #486 Joined: Sun Dec 09 2007, 09:37AMLocation: Alton Hampshire Posts: 93 | Sounds like a problem with the pyrotechnic battery cable (SBK) it disconnects the batt +ve cable in the event of an accident or if the main cable is shorted out. This is common to all vehicles where the batt cable runs outside of the car under the floorpan. www.detailperfection.com | ||
