Is my MINI the only one without a name?  Registered Member #267 Joined: Sat Sep 23 2006, 11:00PMLocation: Bournemouth Posts: 912 | Calling all pirate treasure seekers of South Coast New MINI club. I, the 'Huntmaster', invite you to a treasure adventure hunt on Saturday 26th April 2008 to celebrate fellow pirate Jo's Birthday. Using the legends of lost treasure you, the adventurer pirate, will set out on a daring expedition to strike it rich, following a weathered pirate map, looking for clues and solving riddles along the way. Fun riddles, conundrums and trivia must be found, and solved in order to complete your journey and capture the treasure. The details: 11:15 - Meet at Ringwood longstay car park, ready to leave at 11:30 for a short run 12:30 - Lunch at a nearby pub 14:00 - The Treasure Adventure Hunt briefing and the expedition starts 16:00 - All cars to be back at 'secret location' for winners presentation, near Ringwood There are some rules: a) Safety: All cars that enter must have at least two pirates (driver +1) for safe map reading b) Dress code: Pirate attire is required, the extent of the outfit is up to you. Eye-patches cannot be worn whilst driving. c) MINI's can be suitably dressed and teams can have a team name. d) Radios will be necessary for the morning run How to enter: There will be an entry fee of £5 per car to cover the cost of materials for the treasure hunt and prizes. The more entrants the greater the prizes. I assure you that all of the entry money will be used for sensible materials and prizes. 1) Reply to the thread with your name and the name of your co-pirate (and team name if you want one) 2) I will then contact you to arrange collection of the entry fee 3) Start shopping for your pirate clothing, hooks, eye patches, wigs and more List of people attending: 1. Captain John Cash (cooper_sport) & Paul in his ship 'Oceans Blade' PAID 2. Captain Davey Kidd (Dave) & ......tbc....... possibly swimming if he has no ship! PAID 3. Bloody Matt Rackem (T15Matt) and Lucy Rosa in The Red Vengeance PAID 4. Dirty Jo Rackam (Joanne) & Dirty Tom Bonney (CoopersTom) in the 'Blue Pearl' PAID 5. Red Mary Kidd (SharonH) & her crew of 1 or 2 6. Ethel Kidd (Mrs Messey) & Bloody Davey Kidd in the Rosey Red Clipper PAID 8. El Capitano Manuel (Lorimor_Black) & Jose 8. I will have to speak to me crew and find a reliable seaman who I can trust to not double cross me and take all the treasury for themself. I will get the crew to work on the 'Ocean's Blade' right away to get her all ship shape for the voyage ahead.  FYI - got my pirate name from the following web site. http://www.piratequiz.com/ Just answer a few questions and it gives you a name with a statement about it. I got Captain John Cash Even though there's no legal rank on a pirate ship, everyone recognizes you're the one in charge. You're musical, and you've got a certain style if not flair.
