Is it in the middle of the car, under the engine? or is it more to one side?

The only thing I can think of is the power steering pump. I had a hose split on mine after about 35,000 miles. Its a very black oil and makes a mess of the underside of the car but doesn't drip much.

Anyone else got an idea?

Not too sure what it could be without taking a look under the car. Could be power steering fluid as hoang had his hose come off when racing around brands hatch and that looked a lot engine oil apart from it was a bit red.

Had it sooo many times.... its its kind of clear or slightly yellow ish then it could be brake fluid and slightly darker is power steering fluid. Is it drivers side of under the engine bay?

Zig Zag Hill right?

Tranny?

:P

Sorry Joanne. As long as you have no warning lights should be OK.

Just drive carefully and check coolant and oil levels weekly should be OK.

If the leak is close to your wheels could be brake fluid - but then you should get a warning light for that

Regards

Max
