(sorry im a girl but it just dont look like normal oil) I only noticed yesterday where i park at work , looked on my drive and where i park looks the same , checked the oil and seems fine though and cant really see anything leaking any ideas ??.Image: http:// i46.photobucket.com/ albums/f115/ missjoannemoore/ 4690_1174979335858_1 269308848_48684.jpg

The only thing I can think of is the power steering pump. I had a hose split on mine after about 35,000 miles. Its a very black oil and makes a mess of the underside of the car but doesn't drip much. Anyone else got an idea?

Could be power steering fluid as hoang had his hose come off when racing around brands hatch and that looked a lot engine oil apart from it was a bit red.

Is it drivers side of under the engine bay? MINI Project 370hp and counting... : MINIProject.co.uk

Zig Zag Hill right? Tranny? :P Sorry Joanne. As long as you have no warning lights should be OK. Just drive carefully and check coolant and oil levels weekly should be OK. If the leak is close to your wheels could be brake fluid - but then you should get a warning light for that Regards Max [ Edited Fri Feb 29 2008, 06:43PM ] Support Our Heros http://www.helpforheroes.org.uk/ http://www.presentsformen.co.uk/product-PFM-Help-for-Heroes-Mug-6461/ http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/article492159.ece http://www.artfund.org/queenandcountry/index.php http://www.santalash.co.uk/charity.html
