So i walked down to the parts department to pay over my hard earned cash and to my delight the chappy said thankyou Sir that will be £1142 please What! Have you got that right i want the JCW body kit! Yes sir fitted painted 3 weeks it takes, uuuummmmm but i was quoted £1500 just now Ohh sorry Sir they quoted you the wrong price. So to cut a long story short i said i would think about it. So got home rang wood salisbury (spoke to Darren) said i had been quoted £1000 for the kit what could they do, they said if i bring a written quotation in from scotthall they would beat the price. Ok deal! Rang up wood bournemouth they said ok Sir the deal we can do you today is £1600 on the dot. (I put the phone down). Finally speaking to Wood Hampshire they said they will get the kit for £1142 i said ok thanks i thought i would ring and ask but i actually got a better price from scotthall. 30 Seconds later i have Woods hampshire on the phone ringing me again telling me that they would beat the quote £998 (coz i told them that was my quote from scotthall) So there quote is £950! Done deal. The moral of the story is shop around the is always a bargin to be had, there is no such thing as RRP. [ Edited Fri Jan 25 2008, 06:11PM ]

As soon as I mention I work for BMW UK they normaly shift on the price. www.detailperfection.com
