Well seeing as quite a few of us Southerners are going, wouldn't it be great to arrive in a large convoy? Well it might be! But anyway! There will be a meet point at Picket Post Little Chef on the A31, just outside of Ringwood for those from coming from Dorset way if you want to meet there. The main convoy will start at Winnall Tesco (Winchester), which is just off the M3/A34 Junction. We will then travel to Petersfield along the A272 and will pick up people who want to come from Portsmouth. There will be a little militarily precise operation in place so the convoy doesn't get held up as this will just cause more traffic issues, but details nearer the time! The Petersfield meet up will be at the Seven Stars Pub on the A272. The Pub can be found here: http:// maps.google.co.uk/ maps?q=GU32+3PG& spn=0.005,0.02& hl=en As you can see it is very close to the A3/A272 junction, so at the roundabout, just turn left (First Exit) and then turn left into the pub carpark just down the road. We shall then pass by and let you guys out and hopefully you lot will be able to join us in a brilliant manouvre! From Petersfield, we will then stay on the A272 to Petworth. We shall then take A283 to Fisherstreet, turn right, and head through the backroads to Dunsfold Aerodrome. Sound like a plan? There will be plenty of opportunity for posing on the route, and causing traffic chaos, so who is up for it?! TIMES Dunsfold will be opening at 9:30 for people to get onto the airfield. Probably best we don't get there that early as there will be masses of MINIs who have arrived early to get in first. (But saying that, I reckon whenever we get there, there will be a queue!) If the LEAVES at the times below, then we should get to Dunsfold for about 10:15. So if you get there BEFORE the times stated below that will be best! Picket Post Little Chef: 8:00 Winchesters (Winnall) Tesco: 9:00 Petersfield: 9:35 Dunsfold: 10:15ish Are these times ok with everyone? They can be changed!
