i understand that if you have a 15% sc pulley and add a 2% crank pulley your have performance of a 17% sc pulley.
but why not just get a 17% pulley.i must be missing something.someone tell me

The smaller the SC Pulley the tighter the radius of the belt and the more likely hood it will snap and slip.

Also for works cars you can hide a boost increase to some degree by using an oversized crank pulley.

I don't have one any more, but i've had a few - the oddest being a rav 4 with a 3S-GTE engine in it! Also had a Lexus GS too.

The mini is great, but I miss the bullet proof reliability of the Toyotas.
