On the first day of ADVENT starting promptly at the usual Andover start point at 10.00am.

Please fuel up and have a comfort break prior to departure at the Shell Garage on Weyhill Road off the main roundabout on the A303.

We will be stopping for lunch at 12.00 pm at The Wheatsheaf Inn:

We will have a one and a half hour stop here - please bring CASH to pay me for lunch as I have had to book and pay a £75 deposit to secure the function room and will pay the lunch bill in bulk on the day.

Then finishing at about 2.30pm at the George Inn Thruxton, just off the A303.....>

I can do fast if you want fast

It will be spirited in places but always slow down for villages to let all catch up. 60mph on derestricted roads; under 30mph through villages.

It will be slower if DK brings her Cooper and I bring my Porker 944S2
