 Surrey Hants Country Pub Run - 8th September '07

Well it's not unusual for a MINI run to finish at a Pub in the country, but this run will take in several great pubs along the way where we can stop and chat, rather than be confined to our cars constantly - thus giving this run more of a social bearing!

The basic idea is to stop at some of Surrey and Hampshire's most fantastic country pubs, with a cracking little 20/30 minute run in between each one.

ALCOHOL. Drivers seen to be enjoying alcoholic beverages along the route will be asked to leave the run. Orange juice and lemonade all round

So the date set is Saturday the 8th of September.

Meet point provisionally is The Star in Bentley ( Main Rd, Bentley, Farnham, Surrey, GU10 5LW) Map. Bentley is just off the main A31, so easily accessible from the M3, and M25 via the A3 and Guildford.

Meet time will be 11.30am to 12 noon, with a 12.30 departure anticipated.

The third pub stop at approximately 2pm will be the lunch stop - details to follow. We'll then continue for another 1 or 2, aiming to finish at 4pm ish.

Full run notes will be provided on the day, and since there will be regular stops, the runs can be taken at whatever pace you prefer.

 Doh!  The first time in ages a run is in my back yard (I'm in Alton) and I can't make it...frown.png  Off to see The Polce (blast from the past) at Twickenham the same day.  If you are starting at The Star, go to the better pub in Bentley, The Sun (just round the corner).   the Royal Oak in Lasham is worth a stop too.  I may try and make the first couple but will let you know.  Enjoy the daycheesey.png
