Wow! Wow! What can I say?

Slept off the exhaustion and now am still on one big high!

What a fabulous weekend – so much fun – so good to see old friends and meet new ones too!

BIG MASSIVE THANK YOUS GO TO:

MINIPirate: - Who not only donated the run stickers (very tasteful design- looked cool on all the MINIS) but also very generous prizes for the Bingo Games and the run. The stickers alone raised £80 for the charity! Thank you Phil – Hopefully see you there next year!

EssentialMINI : – Who donated an amazing generous prize of a cockpit light colour change (see what he does – its clever stuff!). Thank you Phil – loved the mini and you were such a good sport all weekend!

Minicabrio :- Excellent impromptu Bingo caller, had us in hysterics – why is every number blind?

Hyperblooz: - Hmmm Chocolate … what more can we say?

Adam and Debbie:- For all the running round you did, collecting fire pits and logs etc, helping with the reccie and most of all leading second half so I could have fun at the back!

Sarah – me best buddy – who kept going all weekend; for giving me side splitting tummy ache, for not letting me sleep all weekend or even last night as she got second wind and was hyper –I needed to crash she wanted to send me a million texts! I can prove it read her post she has never written so much in her life!!! And as usual was in top form – don’t ever ask her if she wants cash back!!!! Don’t you EVER change Sarah – you are an amazing person!

And finally to everyone who came, joined in the spirit of things and made it a truly magical weekend. Thanks guys for the weather voodoo dance around the campfire – it worked!!

So far we have made over
£400
for the Breast Cancer Node Probe appeal – and there is still more coming in!!!

THANK YOU!!!

Memories I have taken away with me:

The Old Lady of Freshwater!!! I will track her down and make her guest of honour next year – fab idea Sarah!

Sorting out the fish and chip order – “Hmmmm did I say large Cod or Jumbo Sausage?”
“Where is my steak and kidney pie?” “Oops sorry mate I think I ate it!!!”

Guy in black mini (didn’t see who were too busty panicking – who nearly smashed into the back of five others!!!!

The sound surround snoring: Jon, Matthew and two other sailor boys, Jeff, Indie Blue – next year we are taking ear plugs (Donna says sticking them up your noses will stop you snoring – Hmmmm we will see!)

John Boy and Emily in the stuff your mouth with chocolate challenge – now we know who has a big mouth!

David, who drove for who drove for 15 hours that day, and still managed to stay awake for the evening frolics!

MINIKT – (will you stop changing your name tis’ confusing! Xx) after a bottle of JD!

Alice who now knows eating too much rich food in one day and doing a seven hour run is not such a good idea!

Hearing all the tyres squeal as we went down Zig Zag hill…. Watching sheer panic as newbie’s realised how steep the ‘up’ Zig Zag was at other end!!! So funny!

Shanklin seafront where none of us could resist beeping our horns for ten minutes – and where the Grockles were filming us like crazy waving and laughing.

Lovely Isle of Wight drivers who pulled over to allow us to keep together all the time!

The Bingo – so funny!

The Quiz – so funny too – “who wants a drink of hot chocolate?”

Sarah’s the lady boy – body part!

The sight of all those mini’s climbing above the white cliffs and glistening blue sea – brought tears to me eyes!

The genuine friendship and comradeship around the campfire – what a lovely, lovely bunch of people you are! Your humour, your company was second to none making this a very special event!

NEXT YEARS BEING POSTED TONIGHT!!!!!

If you said you were coming – your name is on the list – if not get it down quick!!!

Roll on 2008!!!

Errr the black MINI was mine...... Opps! One of those clear indications that ABS really does extend breaking distances. I was slowing down nicely until the ABS decided that it would screw that up so I had to steer around the back of the other MCS to miss it. Excitement for you!
