I already have one of these and though Off Topic a little I was wondering how often you use one on your bodywork? I usually do my whole car once a year before the summer and except for a couple of clay sessions that is the only time I am using it. Another point... how are your skills at removing loads of stone chips from a bonnet? Image: http://www.scnm.net/ e107_plugins/ coppermine_menu/ albums/userpics/ NEILSIG4.jpg

PC wise I use mine all the time really, to apply cleaner fluid but also wax too. It gives me more even coverage than I could hope to achieve with just 1 passing by hand. Normally I'd go over again once buffed off to make sure. Buffing off I always do by hand as dont feel the pc is as thorough as the hand/eye combo for that! Stone chips? Well not something I'd expect the pc to deal with tbh as they are normally deep and down to primer. Perhaps it could be used if you had the correct touch up pen, and use it to polish the raised area flat again? I dont know really as not tried it but dont think it could correct the "fault" on its own. It is a very good bit of kit and quick to use - swirls are no more! It has worked well leveling off any chips making them less noticeable but I realise any scratches / chips that you can feel with your finger nail will not be removed with this type of polisher. I was wondering if you had any experience using fine sandpaper to remove chips, I've read about the process on Detailing World but wouldn't practise it on my own car. I've not tried it but if you look in the testimonial section of my site I remedied someones attempt on a BMW cabrio.... I'm not brave enough to try it on my van, let alone a customers car but like you say I've seen the pics and know it works...but bock bock chicken for now!!!! :o Swissvax trained and authorised 2005,2006,2007 Swiss vax Factory 2008 Dodo Juice authorised 2007 www.envyvaleting.co.uk
