 Hey everyone,

now who is interested in having their MINI windows tinted? Especially as its summer and tinting will block 99% of UV rays and keep the car cooler. Really miss my tinting for being able to drive all day without getting sunburnt and no annoying reflections/dazzling car lights from behind.

The best place around has to be South Coast Tints and looking around £120 for the rear windows only and £210 for all except the windscreen. Front windows will only be tinted to the legal limit of 70% light still being able to pass through. But security film can be fitted for the same price as tint.

Going to drop down there this week and get my fronts tested to find out. The rears are the same on mine.

 Id be interested in tints, although I dont want the front windows done, just the rear windscreen and side windows.

are your rears tinted by MINI like mine ?

I dont know what yours are like Cant remember.... All MINI windows are tinted slightly.

 minis front and rear (standard is 30%) front is already at the legal highest it can be it is a greenish polerized tint on the mini put a peice of white paper next to the window and youll see what i mean you cant legaly tint the fronts on the mini but you can do what you want to the rear ive seen a few with a full blown limo tint totaly legal from the B pillar back

 im interested in getting the protective film. can anybody give me a definative answer as to how dark the front side windows can go legally?

 just watched the legal window tinting video at the top of this thread. Am DEFINATELY interested in having security film done.

no they are at 30% that is the legal limit as the must let 70% of light through
