I suppose you guys already know each other and will be parked together at the track, so I just need to go over to the big group of MINI's and say hi, right?

That'll be us

Jon - the more I think about it the more I decide It will be better going up friday morning rather than going to bicester to the MIL house then fighting the oxford traffic going back to abingdon. So I'll probably join you on the way then.

Just found the following video from a abingdon track day. Not sure if this will be the track layout for us but gives you an idea.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OPUt8G7lb98

I think that's what we'll be having on Friday John - 110mph max loads of corners and a cute chicane

So the LSDs will have an advantage over the big bhp cars then

Just got a crack in my windscreen on the way to work I need to get sorted. Damn stones.

Spent last night fitting my B & M Short shift kit. Its just what I needed for this friday.

Same here (cracked screen)

The nice lady at autoglass said it won't shatter or fall in and you can sue us if it does 8O

However I'm not sure that the event organisers would let me on the track with a cracked screen - so mine will have a new one on Thursday afternoon

Just to say that there's no question of having a clean car for this event..

..better to check brakes etc are all in top notch before arrival

..and don't forget the 106RON Tony

I'll siphon a few litres out of yr tank then

Well i cleaned my car today so will hopefully still be clean on Friday.

Brakes and all fluids have been checked by Roland on Monday when braces went on.

I'll be bringing some 99ron with octane booster along in my spare fuel can. Should be around 102-103ron. Have also got a hand fuel pump to help transfer it from can to car.

Could be interesting if we have rain as I'm running worn tyres.

I'm more concerned about having tyres left to drive home on Max! I didn't spend all that money on track wheels to not use em...

Hey ho It'll be fun whatever.
