I would be amazed if you could! Give them a call and say you forgot to mention what owners club you were a member of. But i'm sure its been paid and signed/sealed now. If you have any luck let me know and i'll do the same

Nice one Dave, I was just thinking of changing my insurers!!

Do you have to drive a MINI to get the discount?

Sleepyhead just asked me that same question. Since he has a modified MX5 it would be good to give them a try. Could always say your are a member of SCNM and see what they say.

Just called up Adrain Flux to get a quote on my modified MINI. The price I got is very very good.

Total cost came to . This included the following.

Fully comp and travek to work.
Breakdown cover inc europe.
Free legal costs.
Protected no claims.
Modification s: Alloy wheels, GTT induction Kit, GTT spiroslot Discs/pads, GTT Modified exhaust.

I did do a quote with green light and they came out at £497. This was a web quote so I'm not sure if that had protected no claims and breakdown cover. They did however say if I got the GTT reduction polly and make the power around 210bhp it would cost an extra £35.

When the paper work arrives they said I will have to prove I'm a member of this club.

So, if anyone is looking for MINI isurance I would try Adrian Flux first and make sure you tell them you are a member of SCNM.

Not sure but she said the paper work I get will explain how. Dave said I might have to provide my user name and password. 8O

How about sending them a page from the members list with your entry and highlighting yourself... that is the only way I can think of doing it.

Just had my renewal through from AF. At that price I'm not even going to bother looking elsewhere
