Im having my fronts replaced on Saturday with more Nankangs. I have had mine since march and got over 9000 miles out of the fronts (without rotating them with the rears). Granted they do now look like racing slicks but keep that quiet because i have heard a few policemen frequent this site. rolleyes.png

As Dave said 215/40 is a good size to get or you can go the BMW standard size of 205/45.

Avons are good. Might be going back to them once the nankangs are finished with.

Oooo good price The Yokohama Parada 2s are basically the same as Nankang NS2s.

My Nankangs are almost gone now so a whole year and 20K+ miles isnt bad for £184

If its dry they stick like glue at CC. In the wet its a different story.

I forgot to add my new tyres to this thread, oops. I've now got Avon ZZ3's on my MINI, in the stock size of 205/45-17. I'm very pleased with them.

Yesterday I got fitted from Arrow Tyres at Calne (on the A4 4 miles away from me):

two 215/35 R18 84Y Roadstone @ £57 each for my MINI GP Replica fronts:D

(similar performance to the Nankang NS)

two 205/55 R16 84Y Uniroyal @ £59 each for my Porsche fronts

On the money

Hi Max, they were fitted at a local to me (Watford) tyre place. They were about £400 for 4 tyres fitted, not the best price i know but i needed them on quickly for my M.O.T, if i'd planned the new tyres in advance i would have saved some money. The best price i've seen since then for fitted Avon ZZ3, is through the websites Tyres Shopper and Tyre Traders. I'll be better prepared next time.
