  Registered Member #497 Joined: Tue Jan 29 2008, 09:21PMLocation: Havant Posts: 323 | As those who know me, know that I drive a Mini Cooper Park Lane and luvvvvvvvvvvvvvvv it. WELL it was my birthday on the 4th Jan and my hubby threw a surprise birthday party for me and thanks to the few of you that came. The evening was rounded up by Barry who gave me my present which was such a surprise, he had got hold of a model company and got them to make me a complete copy of my mini in a 1.18 scale. They have sprayed it in the correct colour, done an exact copy of my sunroof, the four spotlights, park lane markers on the wings, fitted carpets and painted the insid eexcatly the same and finally they have even put the www.newminikernow.co.uk and the www.scnm.co.uk stickers in the back window. It is very hard to tell them apart, apart from the size as its such a good copy (the only thing they couldn't do were the wheels but beggars cant be choosers). Tony (the model man) said if I were ever to sell my beloved mini I will always have the model to remind me of it.
