I had a Cooper for the day from Woods,( Thank you Woods ) and have spent the day driving around all my usual routes etc.

This car didn't have Sports Suspension but had 16" wheels. I thought it a nice set up, little bit of body roll round fast corners, but the ride wasn't teeth jarring over the usual bumps like my old Cooper was.
It had the basis set up radio and speakers and the sound I though was fine especially with the volume up, no distortion. It also had a sunroof but I didn't use it cause I don't want one and a MFSW, again didn't use it as I don't want that either..It also had the darker roof lining and again I won't be specing that.
Its really good to have an extended test drive because you can poke about with all these things

There was a rattle but on further investigation the parcel shelf wasn't set in properly..and another strange thing was the fan cut in a few mins after I had switched off for about a minute. I thought someone next door was mowing there lawn until I got closer to the car and realised it was the fan on.:)
My nephew's Recaro car seat fitted well in the back and he loved it in the back of the MINI.
I couldn't take an S out to try the Sports Suspension as the demo had been sold on Saturday.
But the aim of today was to give the Cooper a good ole test out and I loved it!
I have changed my spec 3 times today so far!

Who would have thought I'd have a MINI on my driveway again after Manny.

Watch this space cause I'll be ordering in October after my Holiday

I find the whole cruise control thing very, very scary.
Thats why I wouldn't spec the MFSW. If it came without Cruise Control on there then I would.

Oh I really just use it for the radio controls!

Too much traffic on the roads to use cruise control!
