Hi everyone  The Italian Job organisers are arranging a record attempt at a 'Mile of Mini's'. It is in aid of raising money for KidsOut, this years supported charity, and they need as many Mini's/MINI's as possible - at least 300

The attempt will take place at 6.00pm on Sunday May 11th in Portsmouth, after the Italian Job event at Gunwharf Quays and will be starting from Southsea Common on a section of closed highway, thanks to the assistance of Portsmouth City Council and Gunwharf Quays Management. There is an entry fee of £10 which goes to the charity - if you would like to take part, you can find out more information by going to www.italianjob.com or by completing the form and returning it to the organisers office

The form:

Please tell anyone and everyone that you know owns a Mini, old or new, and help us beat the record and raise lots of money :D

Just a quick one, anyone who is has entered the Gunwharf Quays Italian Job has automatic entry to the Mile of Minis, as both events are being run in conjunction with each other.

Just a quick update, we still need some more cars for the record attempt.  It would be a shame to have got so close and not bring the record back to the UK.  So if you are thinking about please book your place soon. after all  it is in his best Smashing and Nicey voice   "For charity".
