I've decided at this late date to go to Combe..!  However, in the spirit of 'spreading the New MINI word' I will be on the P&SMOC stand.  Don't anybody imagine for a moment I am trying to avoid SCNM - in fact, I shall be across to see everyone as soon as we're setup. Obviously, the P&SMOC people would also love to get a visit from SCNM royalty.

A SCNM stand full of MINI's is a FANTASTIC idea, and sprinkling MINI's onto other stands will help break down some of the Luddites.  This day is organised by MiniWorld Magazine which is the magazine of choice for all MINI-hating, beard-chewing old men.

I want to get to a point where MiniWorld can't take ANY pictures of the event without a New MINI creeping into the background!

I'm sure me and Dave will be over to see everyone on the P&SMOC stand. I'm also hoping that Daze will have his mini (the one that looks like Dave's) and be going on the track. Need to have a little race with him or get a ride at some point during the day.

Daze is organising P&SMOC's stand - and Sylvester will certainly be taking to the track!

Jo, I nearly didn't make it to the IOW run in the end. I didn't get there till about 3.30pm after a small problem in the morning.

Tesco 99ron with added octane booster. Which reminds me I better look up where the nearest Tesco or Shell petrol station is to the track so we can fill up before going in.

I'm most likly bringing all the following with me to the track.

Couple of spare Wheels
Trolley Jack
Socket set, spanners, screw driver
Spare brake pads (if i haven't already fitted them)
Driver Licence
Helmet
Club banner
Gazebo
Chair
Food

Good news all...the tickets arrived today.

I have 12 free admission tickets and all the track passes we requested. I will post up details of where the club stand is located at the track and meeting points/times for us all to get together before going in.

Getting really excited now and only a week and a bit to go.

All,

Sorry for not putting details up oof meet times and convoy route yet. I had a few friends visiting this weekend and didn't get any time to go on the PC.

I will have all the below details up late tonight so when you log on tomorrow you will know what we are doing.

Convoy route and start/on-route meet points
Time I'm aiming to get to the track.
Map of club location
List of things people going on track will need

I will also PM everyone going my Mobile number so if you have problems you can get a hold of me.

One last thing, I'm aiming to get to the track very early Saturday around 7.30am. The reason for this is all clubs can get in from around 7am and should be set up by 9am. It could be very busy at this time of morning with all the club cars arriving. As long as we have a few cars setup ready by 9am I'm sure it doesn't matter when everyone else arrives.
