Hi guys hope ur all well. I need some honest opinions... trying to sell my 03 cooper s and its just not selling! Had a couple of offers!!! Its an amazing cooper s with all the extra options. BMW were amazed at how many it had!!!

Here is the link to pistonheads

http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/735419.htm

I know its up for too much at the moment but wanted ur opinions on how much u think i should sell it for.... Im thinking maybe £9000 but scared this is still too high.

Be honest i can handle it..

Thanks in advance

No that means they bought that p/x for probs £5k. And i ask about it and they said that it had been sitting there for 3 weeks at the price and no takers. Just a thought

Sadly 2003 MCS's are around £7-8K now and the credit crunch is really not helping. Still half the original price in 5 years is done good.

If the price is already high then dont put it higher to haggle down! :0 Coz atm chances are you wont get anyone wanting to buy it so never the chance for someone to haggle with you, specially if the price is too high. If i was you i would just keep it, for another 9-12 months otherwise you wont get a good return on it.

hi JANOOSE
Get your otherhalf down to the auction and get a vectra or somthing for no money that will give you a bigger car and keep the mini till things pick up he is in the car world all said and done can get a vectra for about 500 notes would be cheaper to do this than lose that much money on the mini you can get cover notes for the insurance so you can drive both at minimal cost to yourself

Janoose,

I hate to rub salt in the wounds, however your cooper-s sounds like my ideal car - however unfortunatley due to the credit crunch - I am unable to sell my mini cooper for a cooper-s likeI desire!
Good luck with the sale, and you never know, if you do keep hold of the cooper-s, I maybe knocking on your door in a few months time with some cash !!

Hi mini copper thanks for the comment its such a stunning car but everyone is completely right the credit crunch is being a killer. At least i get to keep it and have more fun with it! well for the time being anyway until it does eventually sell!! Also then it may be still avaliable for u when u decide to buy it hehe.
