 I'm coming John!

Can I have a place on the club stand and NO track time...Dont want to get my car dirty now!

Now. For those people wishing just to go on the stand:

a) what time do we have to be there (I cant see any times for that)

b) how much does it cost just for the stand? (that link to the other website says £8 in advance....is that it?)

OK Arron I've added you to the list. I take it Miss Lottie will be joining us but leaving her MINI at home?

In response to your questions.
a) Club stand needs to be setup by 9am so I suggest getting there for 8.15am (as per my first post). Now I don't think we all have to be there at this time as we can move cars about during the day to get on the track.
b) The cost for having a club stand is free and I've also been told that the first 12 people get free access as part of it. Once I've sent the form off and got the passes back I will know for sure. Otherwise, it will be £8 entrance fee if you book online or £10 at the gate.

I will post up more details about where to meet and what time nearer the event so watch this space.

 If we do get free tickets to get in then to make it fair I'm going to say each car registered for the club stand gets one free ticket. So if you bring anyone else with you then they will have to pay.

Now at the moment we have 10 cars signed up so I do have two spare tickets. If it stays like this then I think it best these go to anyone coming from SCNM that isn't driving and then randomly picked for friends or family coming along.

So we now have 11 MINI's confirmed for the club stand.

LOL! Lets see how you feel after riding with John. Although the track is so wide open it doesnt feel like you are going that quick but you are.

Still no news yet. I might send Maria a email when I get to work asking for an update.

I'm still not sure what to do about tyres yet. I might replace my two rear goodyears with the spare nankangs I have just to make the car balanced.

 I have much plans afoot for mine and the wheels are in motion but I will be running new tyres on the track as I dont trust mine one bit at 120mph around a corner! That said I will be wearing them out over the next 3 weeks

 All,

Sent Maria at Castle Combe a email this afternoon. She has come back confirming we have been accepted for a club stand and that we do get 12 FOC admission tickets. Each driver on the club stand will be given one ticket and the spare will go to Miss lottie. This means if you bring anyone else along with you they will need to pay £8 (if booked online) or £10 (at the gate).

Once I get all the passes through the post later this week I will be looking to get money of those of you who requested track time. I will be taking cash up to and including the day itself or you can send it via interent banking (just pm me for bank details).

I will work on places to meet and times after the Isle of wight run this weekend.

 Oh yes! Thank you for reminding me.

I *might* be able to attend this. Work will not let me have ANOTHER Saturday off.

Plan B will have to come into operation...will let you know ASAP!

Sorry to do this so late, but I am contracted to work Saturdays and its pretty rare for me to get them off!
