Excellent!

Unless something drastic happens, I'll be there, and I'll drag Max along too

I will be keeping that weekend free. Once we know more details we can start planning where to stay, etc.

yeah will probably take a few days off before and after this event. Can't book the time off work yet until the new year starts.

Really must make sure I get along to next years event as I missed both the last two.

I'm already signed up and have been for a while. Its not final till they release the full details but I think the Travel Inn or lodge next to Silverstone is now fully booked and I know lots that have done it.

I'll most likely end up staying at Hoangs in Peterborough and drive across. Only takes an hour from there. Or I might just end up camping if other people do as well.

Just booked 3 nights at the Best Western Buckingham Hotel at 50 GBP a night, room only flexible rate, cancellation allowed up to 16:00h on the date of arrival

http://book.bestwestern.com/bestwestern/productInfo.do?propertyCode=83812&disablenav=false

Off to book a hotel near Cowley for the same period, in case something happens over there

I have also booked the Ibis in Northampton Sol Central, 50 GBP per room, room only, cancellation up to 19:00h on the date of arrival.

http://www.ibishotel.com/ibis/fichehotel/gb/ibi/3657/fiche_hotel.shtml

I have stayed in this hotel on more than one occasion when I used to go to Cotswold Runs. It is right next to Aroma, an all you can eat Chinese restaurant, and the food is excellent!!!

I may cancel the Best Western booking if more SCNMers decide to stay at this hotel and raid Aroma one evening

I believe there are more than one circuit at Silverstone, therefore, it should be able to accommodate 2 events

Ive managed to book in at the Travelodge 8 mins from the track http://www.travelodge.co.uk/index.php , there are still rooms there to be had, funny bacause last week there were none ??? anyway its £51 night for a family room and you can cancel for a extra £1. So if it turns out to be somewhere else no problem. I would advice you book somewhere now if you are def going.
